Central Kentucky Weightlifting Club offers individual and group training sessions designed to prepare soccer athletes for optimal game day performance by increasing their speed, agility, strength, power and explosiveness. This program also focuses on injury prevention to maximize competitive longevity and to reduce the risk of a season-ending injury. Training sessions are led by our head coach John Spurlock, strength and conditioning coach for the University of Kentucky’s men’s and women’s soccer teams. Spurlock is considered one of the top sports performance coaches in the nation and has extensive experience training athletes at the collegiate, professional, and Olympic level. Training sessions are open to athletes of all ages who want to take their game to the next level!
